HS and JB Shows 1 and 2

Welcome to you're second Honor Society Anonymous meeting, first as a full fledged member. This session we will be having a recap of the FIRST two times I saw and met (three times) the lovely gent's of Honor Society! We have a couple of special guests for this meeting. None other than the Jonas Brothers and the Wonder Girls. I hope you have your coffee and a nice pillow... this may take awhile...

Here’s my story of this INCREDIBLE weekend that consisted of not one, but TWO Jonas Brother’s concerts and Meeting Honor Society THREE times and the Wonder Girls two times!

Day ONE: Friday 6/26/09
So I am sitting at work in front of the computer when Megan texts me saying there’s an HS Meet and Greet at 2:30 pm up in Clackamas. Damn work and having to be there til 3, living an hr and a half from Clackamas, and having to get new tires before the trip up :/

I missed the meet and greet. SAD

Anyways, I finally get off work, get new tires and drive up to Sarah’s house. I decided to drive up to Portland the day before the show and drive back the next day. She got pizza so we scarfed some of it down and ended up calling Megan. It was the best message ever as we were having our own conversation while still recording the message. EPIC! We then decide to head to Michael’s to get some fun stuff to make signs with. Good thing we went when we did, cuz the store closed 10 mins after we got there… We ended up getting sharpies, poster board, and glow in the dark fabric puff paint!!

We get back to Sarah’s house, and ponder what to put on our signs… She decides to go with something our friend Angie said “Superstoked to get Supersoaked.” I had one hell of a time figuring out what I was gonna put on my sign… I finally went with:
Jonas Brothers Floor Seats: $110
Glow Sticks: $1
Slices of Pizza consumed before Show: 5 Slices

So we finish our signs and its past 1AM so we crash…

DAY TWO: Saturday 6/27/09
That morning, we slowly get up… sooo sleepy, yet so pumped for the concert! We finally get up and get ready.. I had issues figuring out what to wear… finally went with a black tank top, green mini, black leggings, and black converse!

We picked Angie up, cept we couldn’t figure out how to get to her APT so we met her at the starbucks right by there and some guy almost took my drink!! :/
So, after getting drinks we finally head to the Rose Garden, but take the long way as Sarah can’t go on I5 with her clunker… so we took the “back roads” to the arena. We get there and try to park and some guy tells us that he doesn’t think we can park there as there is some other even happening… he circles around a bunch of times while calling people to see if we can park there. Turns out we would be toed if we parked there, but the dude told us we could park in another garage… so we did and walked down to where the Jonas tour bus and Verizon buses are. We took a bunch of pics with the buses, they were awesome! WE got there after noon and tried to find Jessica, which we did. We then hung out with FFE’ers in the front entrance, by the fountain. We ate pizza, and chalked up the front cement outside the Rose Garden! It was fun! We even got little kids and strangers involved in the chalk artwork, you should have seen it, it was amazing! I walked back and forth between the fountain where we were standing and the tour buses. I found Megan and Erin and Meriah,
who were all hanging outside the Verizon bus, which had Honor Society inside! We talked to Geo for a bit and stood in the shade. I then decided to have everyone teach me the Honor Roll, with Geo watching. He commented on how Erin’s lean was the best because shes from "Ta-Compton" LOL. Then in the middle of doing the Honor Roll, out walks Honor Society from the bus! I had my back to them, and kept going, but a couple girls stopped. Alex saw us doing it and smiled and laughed. I went back to the fountain to hang out some more. We then broke out in a round of JB karaoke… of sorts. I ended up filming the FFE’ers singing Burnin’ Up, with Angie on the Big Rob Rap (lol). Then we found out sound check started and Sarah said you could hear it from the cracks in the door, lol. So some of us stood at the cracks in the doors to hear sound check, honestly, it sounded AMAZING. I even heard that a girl got to go on stage and sing a song with them!!!!!

Anywho, we finally got into the Rose Garden! Sarah was the first one in line, I was Second… felt so good to finally get in! We then stood in line to get to our seats, we did finally and were on the Floor, Row 7!!!!!!!!! SO CLOSE! Aroun

d 7, the lights dimmed and out came Honor Society! Man, they are so good live, they can actually sing. Coming from a musical background, I have an appreciation for good musicians, and shit, they sounded AMAZING! The bass was sick! It was loud and crisp, and AMAZING! They played Not Over You, Full Moon Crazy, Nobody Has to Know, and See You in the Dark. Megan and I saw Andrew look over and smile our way while doing the Honor Roll. I filmed the first verse and chorus of SYITD and then did the Honor Roll during the other choruses and screamed my ass off for the guys!

RIGHT when their set was over, we booked it up the stairs to stand in line for the official HS M&G. We waited in line and headed down the stairs to stand in line some more. We could hear Jordin do her set, which sounded really good. As we stood in line we sang along and danced to her songs. Finally the guys came out! They greeted each of us and took a picture. It was my first time meeting them! Megan and I decided to get a pic together with them as she greeted them first. When it was my turn, I stepped on Alex’s foot a bit when I hugged him and said hey. I then hugged and greeted Jason, then Michael, and lastly Andrew! Then Megan and I got in the middle and took a picture with them and that was it!

Then, we hustled back to our seats to possibly see the last bit of Jordin’s set, which we didn’t :/ Next, Papa Joe came on stage to a HUGE roar! Seriously, everyone loves some Papa Jonas!! He said that they boys love us and had missed Oregon and that they were glad they could come to Portland again. He then introduced the Wonder Girls another time, for them to perform their single “Nobody” once again. He said to do Papa Jonas a favor and learn the Wonder Girls dance and get up and dance for the song. So, the Wonder Girls came out and performed the single again and I gotta say they are so cute, beautiful, and nice! They are good performers and you can tell that they are seasoned performers and definitely know what they are doing! They were wearing super cute pink and sparkly dresses…

Then after almost a half hr wait, with our screams going to the video boards with things people texted in, it was time for the JONAS BROTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lights dimmed and they pumped up the crowd with We Will Rock You. They then popped up to the tune of Paranoid. The crowd went NUTS! I went crazy, we all went crazy! It was an amazing feeling as this is what we had all been waiting for! My seat was on the floor, 7 rows from the stage… we were about 10 seats from the catwalk. PERFECT view of our boys! Next, they did That’s Just the Way We Roll and then Poison Ivy. They had some awesome lighting and smoke stuff during this song, brought out their performance! Next was Fly With Me, which brought the house down. Nick played Piano, it was soo cute! Next up was Black Keys/A Little Bit Longer. It brought tears to my eyes, no kidding. It was the best performance and speech I have ever witnessed! Much Better changed the tempo up a bit. During the guitar break, Nick and Joe did flips and such… It was entertaining to see. They even had a trampoline in the middle of the stage! And, Joe dig a flip of the mic stand! Lol anyways, next up was Year 3000, got the whole crowd singing along as it’s a classic of theirs! Then the leave us! But they came back, this time Joe in a tank top for Tonight and Gotta Find You. They used the lift thing for this, definitey tight as shit to see that… Ahh, Turn Right was next up on the setlist, and guess who played piano? KEVIN! Aweee, my favorite part! My fave played the piano! Eeeek. Anyways next was Live to Party, we were right next to the lift for it, but guess what? IT DIDN’T WORK! God dammnit! So pissed off. I didn’t know what I missed until the next night… lol Next was Sweet Caroline, I don’t know the song real well, but I sang the chorus, which is all that I knew… the only other people that were singing were Megan and the parents and other older fans that actually know the song… Hold On was up next. This is where Joe dropped his mic, I got a video of him picking it up lol. Next was BB Good, then WWIII (one of my favorite songs!) and Battlefield with Jordin Sparks. Nick sat right in front of us playing drums. Seriously, I didn’t like the song much before the concert, but now I can’t get it outta my head! I LOVE it now. Jordin did an amazing job, and its awesome she did it with the guys! Lovebug was next. Kevin came out in a trenchcoat and umbrella (hot diggity dawg) in the wall of rain before the song started. They played it with the wall of water! Sadly that was at the other end of the stage… either you get foam or water, lol. It sure was something to see though, as there were designs in how the rain fell. It was tight! Then SOS, Kevin started his dance, but didn’t finish it. Sad day. They left again, and came back for the encore… bet you can guess the song, it was Burnin’ Up. They pumped the crowd up for this one! Big Rob rocked it on stage, it was amazing with all the lights and stuff! Then Jordin and HS came out to bow and it was all over. Tear.

So we finally get up the stairs… and guess who is out in the lobby… but the Wonder Girls and Honor Society!! We knew it by the screams and mob of people around them! Sooo… we get in line, which is long! Ned came out a bunch of times and had screaming contests! Our section in line definitely screamed the loudest! We even started going back and forth! Ned filmed us! A little while later Ned came back and put on See You In The Dark and asked if any of us knew how to do the Honor Roll… so of course, Megan, Erin, Me, and 4 other people immediately throw all our shit on the floor and race out to the middle of the floor. I figured I had to show off my new dance skillz as I had just learned the HR that day! Yeah only SEVEN of us did it when there were HOW MANY people in line? Yeah stupid asses, not fans if you don’t know the Honor Roll! Lol So yeah, Ned filmed us and then he wanted Megan and Erin to sing into the megaphone another song of theirs, but they refused and I think he got mad, lol. At this time the guys had gone to get the crowd pumped and we all go high fives as they came back! We were right in the front of the line when these annoying teenie girls were trying to say they knew us so they could meet Honor Society because they hadn’t bought merch… stupid asses… soo annoying. Anyways, we get up to the line and I get my poster signed by the guys, It was amazing as ever! They are so nice! Then we meet the Wondergirls, who are also SO NICE! They are so gorgeous and so grateful. I told them that I have seen their music videos online and am so glad that they are here in the US! So then, I finally leave, I walk the LONG way around the rose garden with everyone to get back to the car… we finally make it up to the 7th floor of the garage, and we start to belt out Hey Baby! There’s a window open in the rose garden, and I say “what if the jonas brothers are in there, sing louder!” lol. They weren’t there, but we kept singing all the way to drop everyone off… I dozed off. SO TIRED. Yeah, we finally get to Sarah’s and I have to drive 2 hours back to Corvallis… UGH? Good idea right? NOT. I seriously almost fell asleep multiple times on the freeway back home.. I kept rolling down the window, putting loud music on, and slapping myself to make sure I would make it home, no overnight stays at creepy truckstops for moi! I finally get home and fall into bed… and wake up the next morning… far too early for going to bed at 3AM!

Day THREE: Sunday 6/28/09
Soo, I wake up around 9am and immediately text Megan making sure she has an extra ticket for the show… she is pretty sure she does considering she got the ones she won the other night… So I tell her I am leaving to come up to Tacoma around noon… this is majorily last second for me as I had told Megan on Friday night that I wasn’t going to go to the Tacoma show… Anyways, I leave Corvallis, Oregon a little after Noon and drive North on I5 headed for Tacoma. This is a big deal to me as usually I plan things in advance but also because I really dislike driving in unfamiliar places (like Portland and Tacoma) but I also get nervous in and around cities when there are lots of cars going fast. So I figured I need to get over this fear, and doing this Tacoma trip would help that… There wasn’t a ton of traffic, but once I got about 30 miles from Tacoma, traffic got bad… we slowed down to a crawl and it took me ages to get to Erin’s Apt. Finally, I got there after 4pm… PHEW, long drive and it was crazy hot that day as well! I was introduced to Erin’s friend Mike, is is friggin’ awesome!! Watched some Honor Society video’s on youtube and taught Mike the Honor Roll… sort of We showed him Meet and Greet pics and the hilariously ridiculous video from the Clackamas hangout sesh of Alex failing to play the tambourine. We decided to head over to the Tacoma Dome, around 5pm but decided to stop at Taco Bell for some food first. We get there and are just sitting down to eat our food when I got Twitter Updates on my phone from Michael and HS saying they were on their way to Starbucks to give out free tix for the show. So, we grab our food and race to the car, pile in, and book it over to Starbucks. Well, we got stuck in traffic, that was headed for the concert, and got lost… so we missed them at Starbucks. They must have been quick there since it was almost concert time… Anyways, we finally head over to the Dome and while we are waiting in the car were listening to JB tunes at full blast with FULL bass. It sure was bumpin’. Soon enough we look over and some girl in the car with her mom is giving is a dirty look… So we stare back, turn the bass up , and continue to jam out! We finally park and head to will call to get our tix and meet and greet passes… Seriously, they herded us into the Dome like a bunch of f’n cows… they need to get lines and shit figured out better there… me no likey a bunch of people shoving and pushing. We finally get inside, but it is no better. It is just a big ass circle and everyone is in a big bunch around the merch tables and by their entrances… NO LINE, but a big bunch, making it impossible to get through… without pushing and shoving… BAD DESIGN. Erin and Mike and Megan and I decided to Split up as were sitting apart. Megan and I walk to our entrance and it’s a huge as blob of people so we decide to take a walk round the dome with the hope that they let ppl in before we get back. Well that failed as we got caught a couple times in areas where not a single person was moving… seriously it was ridiculous… and all the familes had like a bazillion kids that had to follow and cut us all of and shit it was annoying. Anyways, we get to our seats and were 6 rows sfrom the floor! Were so close to the floor it is amazing! For free tickets, this shit ain’t bad! The show was late starting and HS came one. YEAH! I took pics, NO DUH and of course Megan and I did the Honor Roll during See You In The Dark!! No one around us was doing it cept some girls in the 1st row… I even accidentally kicked the girl sitting next to me, woops… heh Michael looked over at us doing the H Roll, so cute..

So, after their set we book it out to their M&G. We wait outside for awhile until they figure out where the M&G is supposed to be. Kat comes out a couple times to tell us to wait there. She finally gets us to stand in line and leads us down the hallway, past the Jonas Brothers catering! I walk past the first door and just see food, then I walk past the second door and look in and see Garbo (their bassist) sitting at a table with some girls and JOE. Since we were walking, I couldn’t say hi or anything. But right when we walk past the door I tell Megan that I just saw Joe sitting at the table with Garbo. We get to the room where the HS M&G is and we hear girls behind is freaking out and screaming. They had seen Joe and decided to try and stampede it into the Catering Room. Lol We continue to wait in line for what seems like forever. Megan saw Garbo walk by talking on the phone and we see Joe walk by with a couple blonde chicks that were sitting with him at catering. Finally they tell us that Michael got hurt during the concert and that the m&g wasn’t happening because he was getting it checked out to make sure he was ok. They told us we could get to the front of the line at the Merch meet and greet after JB’s show. So, we head back to our seats. They had closed the catering door since the stupid fan girls had to ruin it lol… ugh. We get back to our seats and catch the end of Jordin’s set. FINALLY JB comes out. Megan and I weren’t as jumpy and stuff as the night before but we still were pumped! The girl in front of us wouldn’t stop jumping up and down and waving her arms around. SERIOUSLY, I wanted to smack her so bad… She almost hit us so many times, we were just waiting for it so we could say something to her. I took a bunch of pics and videos, but had to do so between her arms as she was flailing them about. Stupid bitch. Anyways, they came out with the awesome intro of We Will Rock You and Paranoid. Brought the house down, as usual. I got so much adrenaline! They keep going with their classic, That’s Just The Way We Roll. Then Poison Ivy (if you listen to the lyrics, it is so funny. Lol) Hold On, Play My Music, and Fly With Me with nick on the piano. Next up was Black Keys/ALBL and he changed his speech up a bit from the night before! We didn’t cry! Lol Next was Much Better, Nick and Joe bust out the trampoline and do flips and such, this time Joe didn’t jump over the mic stand… oh well. Then was another classic of theirs, Year 3000, the whole crowd was singing along. Then Tonight and Gotta Find You, this time Joe called it Wanna Find You (LOL). Next up was my fave JB song of all time, When You Look Me In The Eyes (AWE), it made me think of my Mom. Stupid girl in front of us continued to annoy the shit outta me. I look around us and I see a bunch of guys singing along, haha. Next, for the parents out there, was Sweet Caroline. Yet again I sang the chorus as that’s all I know. The it was Live to Party, this time the foam worked!!!!! It was so freaking amazing! Joe and Kevin go to the lift and start foaming the crowd across from us, I take pics the whole entire time, got some sweet ones as well. Then Joes stops working and he puts it down. Kevin keeps going and then Joe tries again, it works! Then, they come to our side!!!! SO yeah, Joe and Kevin were RIGHT ABOVE US! They looked down at us and covered us in foam, it was so f’ing awesome! Joe and Kevin smiled down at us (EEEK) and went back to covering everyone in foam, all the while Nick is bustin’ it out on the drums! Lol BB Good and WWIII were next. Kevin continued to rock out. He seriously is the best performer out of all of them. No kidding. Xoxo. Then Battlefield, Jordin came back out and rocked the shit outta the tune. I seriously LOVE JB and Jordin doing this song, its baller and is freaking amazing! Then was Lovebug and SOS. Kevin did the SOS dance!!! Love Kevin, hes so cute. Megan and I screamed for him when he did it! Haha. The lastly, they came back out with Big Rob for Burnin’ Up. They definitely save the best song of the night for the encore! They blow the roof off the place and BAM the concert is over! It was amazing. But our night isn’t over yet!

Megan and I run to get to 20A to get in line for the HS and WG meet and greet. We get to go to the front of the line, which I guess made other ppl mad, but OH WELL, SUCK IT! Stupid people let the Verizon girls first because they earned their passes (yeah they danced to get them) and also because they needed a special backdrop for the pics… but they didn’t get anything signed HA LOSERS! They all thought they were so cool cuz they got to go first… whelp, they weren’t stupid bitches. A bunch of people with wristbands tried to cut us… we told them to get to the back of the wristband line lol. The Wondergirls were first up this time. I took a bunch of pics of them signing things for people.

They are so damn cute, no kidding! Kat looked stressed out, as it was mayhem up there! She told megan that Michael had gotten hit in the face with a drumstick during their set, the pics are up online somewhere. Lol. Blame Alex haha.. he wore sunglasses and was baller. This Mom and little girl were in front of me and the girl kept crying. Kat talked to her and asked why she was sad, that she was gonna meet HS!!! The wondergirls kept looking over with worried faces, wondering why the little girl was crying! Awee. We finally were able to go and met the Wonder Girls first. Like I always say, they are gorgeous and adorable. So sweet. I ask to take a pic of them, they say of course. Then I get a pic with them and the two on the end gave me hugs and thanked me for coming out. I said that it was amazing, that they are amazing and that I hope to see them again!

Finally we get up to the guys, they are re-arranging the table and I get a baller pic of Michael standing against the wall with his shades on, lol. They get assembled and Alex is up first, I tell him I lost my voice last night screaming for them. I bought a bag and asked him to sign it. I ask him to put my name on it, of course he does, sweetheart. Then I ask if he will sign my ticket, he says they sign anything! Awe. I get up to Michael and tell him I lost my voice for them as well, Jason over hears and says “Well, that is a good thing, but you have no voice” haha. Michael and Jason both sign my bag and ticket. I tell Michael that I hope he feels better and that I hope he doesn’t get hit with anymore drumsticks. Lol, he says he hopes not too. I get to Andrew, tell him I have no voice, he said he was sorry, he signs my stuff and I ask for a picture with them and say “Ill be in the middle!” haha. The guys all laugh at me and we gather in for a picture. Then Erin and Mike take pics with them. For Mikes pic Megan was taking a pic as was I and the guys kept saying to us that they didn’t know which camera to look at! Ended up that 2 looked my way, lol. Eep. We got finished taking pics, and Andrew thanked us again for coming out and hoped to see us again! Awee, cutie!. We head out of the Dome, thank god, I hate that place!

And Head to Denny’s. Mike and I are in the back looking at pics and taking some more. We get to Denny’s and I am falling asleep… seriously. Mike decided it was a great idea to suck on a spoon while Erin took pics… yeah He was crazy, then he called me a racist, for no reason! We ate our food and headed back to Erins and watched a new ep of JONAS. I fell asleep too and I guess so did Mike. It ended and I passed out on the couch. Her cats scared the crap out of me that night… kept meowing and laying on the couch by my face… SHIT! Anyways, I sleep…. zzzzzzz

Day Four: Monday 6/29/09
Woke up, definitely was lazy and took forever. I headed home… and I had Erin help me pump my gas considering I don’t know how. And guess what, she forgot to put my gas cap back on so I roll out without it and some people honk at me and run over and give it to me lol. Uh yea, So I drive Megan back to Portland… and traffic is horrible in Portland… ugh. Took forever to get back on I5. I bust it back home… make it back in 3.5 hours. Yeahh! I miss the HS boys so much! Seriously, they are so damn cute and nice! I decide to make a OR HS fan myspace, Megan as the co-owner out of my love for em. But also cuz the girl who has the OR HS Street Team rarely updates, so I figure between Megan and I, we will way more often! So yeah, we decide that HS should come back! We look up dates for the FMC tour and decide to try and go to Vegas or LA. End of my amazing Day!

Yeah BEST WEEKEND EVER! So amazing, HS, WG, JB TWO consecutive nights! How lucky am I? And I got to spend it with some amazing people. Love you guys!
